Summer is here and it is about time to make my homemade ice cream!

Kids love ice cream – and my kids especially my homemade one. It is easy to make and you do not necessarily need an ice machine. I simple make it in the deep freezer. But this way it is a little time-consuming. The way I do it, it is also suitable for vegetarians as I do not use any eggs.
What you need:

Ice Cream
500 ml vegetarian whipped cream
250 ml condensed milk 7,5%
250 ml sweet condensed milk
3 pck. vanilla sugar
For chocolate ice cream:
1 bottle of chocolate syrup
For Bourbon vanilla ice cream:
1 vanilla pod
For strawberry ice cream:
1 bottle of strawberry syrup
Whip the vegetarian cream with an electric mixer until stiff. Add the condensed milk and the sweet milk and stir well. Add the flavors to your taste. For vanilla ice cream cut the vanilla pod into half and scrape out the vanilla. Add the mixture.
My tip: if you use chocolate syrup you do not necessarily need sweetened condensed milk as at my opinion the ice cream is getting a little too sweet.
Fill into a plastic container, close well and place in the deep freezer. Stir with the electric mixer at least 3-4 times every hour. Let freeze well.
My personal favorite is Black Forest ice cream: Simply use a cherry topping for cakes as flavor and mix 100 gr of chocolate flakes into the ice cream the last time you mix the half-frozen ice cream.
Another variation is Mint-Chocolate ice cream: use mint syrup as flavor and mix 100 gr of chocolate flakes into the ice cream the last time you mix the half-frozen ice cream.
